~ The Lovezone with Geena Lee ~ Episode 18: Girl Power

In honour of International Women’s Day, this Lovezone episode is all about the ladies; featuring R&B girl groups of the 1990s…hey, what can I say, I’m a 90s girl…  But seriously, it was the decade of the ‘independent woman’ and ‘girl power’, they were cute AND could kick your butt (thinking of Left Eye and Scary Spice here).  I chose to focus on female singing groups because they present a symbol of solidarity and unity amongst women.  We may not be like-minded but we can share the same goal, and in combining our talents and efforts, success is more attainable. So to all my ladies, this one is for you.
