Erykah Badu is back.  Well she never really left, but with today’s release of her latest album New Amerykah Part II: Return of the Ankh, it’s like we’ve come full circle with the evolution of the little woman with the big hair and even bigger voice who brought us Baduizm in 1997.  A self-proclaimed ‘analog girl in a digital world’, this passionate Piscean is a major poster girl of the neo-soul scene, always pushing the boundaries with her songs and her style; encouraging us to think, learn and love fearlessly.  Erykah is an artist, a mother and a muse intent on inspiring the world with her honest individuality, spirituality, and BRAVERY.  You’ve seen that Window Seat video haven’t you?  If not I’ve posted it below, along with a few others.  In honour of the brave and beautiful Badu, I’ve put together a mix of what I consider her best, so far….
