~ The Lovezone with Geena Lee ~ Episode 42: Toni Braxton
Her distinctively sultry vocals often has her compared to Anita Baker, but Toni Braxton is a singer with her own stage. She’s won six Grammys and sold over 40 million albums worldwide, with a string of classic ballads that will always be a staple in the Lovezone library.
Today Toni turns 43 years old, and she’s not having a very happy birthday, as she’s filed for bankruptcy, for the second time in her career. I don’t know what all the details are or why this is happening to her again, but I hope she can find her way through this challenge. So I’m sending Ms. Braxton some positive vibes in this mix, featuring selections from her albums; and if there’re any you’re missing in your collection, pick up a copy, I’m sure she’d appreciate it!
